A-muse-a-palloza week 9 - A Mini Card
A-muse-a-palooza Week 9 - Tags, tags and more tags
I had a lot of fun making this tags. I had been wanting to make some for awhile, and never had time. This week I made time after Emily's e-mail reminding us we could include some different items.
The 2 tags that standing out in front are made with an A Muse images (the sentiments are not A Muse). Not sure you can see it in the picture, but I also put glitter all around the hole, it seems like a fun idea.

The punches are Marvy Mega scalloped and Giga. Cardstock is Memory Box, ink is Impress, and the ribbon is unknown ( I took it off the spool and I can't remember the brand!).

So, this stamp is not A Muse, but I could not help myself including this card this week. I am not sure what the stamp brand is, my MIL was in London recently and sent it to me. I thought it was very nice of her to think of me and I really love the stamp. It's just very versatile, and using different colors can be transformed for different occasions. The ribbon is May Arts and can be purchased at the A Muse store. If I am correct, last time I was in there, I saw a spool of a similar ribbon that carried the A Muse brand:) In any case, you can get it directly from your favorite stamping store in Seattle!!

A-Musa-a-palooza week 9, card #3
I think I might have already mentioned that I love this one ribbon from May Arts. The red on the edge is not quite red, it's Magenta. It goes well with many shades of pink.
Well, I think I am done for tonight. It has been a LONG day and I have a new magazine waiting for me:)
A-Musa-a-palooza week 9, card #2
I am not sure where this card came from. I wanted to use these 2 A Muse stamps (purchased during the birthday sale!) and had no ideas. Then my daughter Martina suggested the purple flower paper and purple ink ... one thing lead to the other and voila'. The string I used is also from the A Muse store. They have some cute ribbons in there! And I noticed that now they also have some with their own brand name.

It's Week 9 at the A-Muse-a-palooza headquarters!
And the keyword this week is : RIBBON! I just got a couple of fab spools of ribbon from May Arts and a few yards of some really nice ribbon from the A Muse store (can't remember the brand ... is a ribbon from France that Linda used on one of her cards and I thought was lovely). But I think I might also make another stop there on Saturday and get something fun and colorful.
On a different note, this morning my 2 year old daughter picked-up a piece of peanut butter cracker sandwich on a play structure (this itself would be nasty) and ate a piece of it. Everything happened really fast and, by the time I realized what was happening, she had already swallowed. She has been allergic to peanuts since birth and, luckily, it looks like she is outgrowing it. I was terrified, I loaded my girls in the car and rushed home to give her some Benadryl. She got some small rashes here and there but nothing major. I am so thankful. But I am also mildly irritated by the fact that anywhere I go, parks, zoo, even schools I see peanut butter. I agree that peanut butter is yummy, but can we keep it at home so that the large amount of kids that are not lucky enough to be able to eat it won't be in danger?

Another card for week 7
A-muse-a-palooza week-7 - Card 3
Well, this is a "cheat". By that I mean that none of the stamps I used here are A Muse, but I just love this card. And I swear that I am a faithful customers of the wonderful A Muse crew and always be. Back to the card, I cannot decide if I like it better with or
without the bats. Any thoughts?By the way, the bats are really ribbon that I trimmed:)

Graduation!
So, last night Martina graduated from Kindergarten. All the kids participated in a play and and at the end were presented with their certificates. She was so proud! And so am I. She has worked very hard during the school year and achieved a lot.
It's WEEK 7 for A-muse-a-palooza!
Did somebody say glitter? I am all over glitter! In fact, I think only few of my cards don't have any glitter on them. I will post some soon:)

Shoe-shopping with Francesca
This morning Francesca and I went to the zoo with our pre-school friends and then off for a shopping spree. She has been after a pair of Crocs for weeks now. Well, Martina has them, so she wants them too, of course. And then she really needed some new tennis shoes, as her foot has finally grown a little bit. And as we were at it, we got a pair of winter shoes that were on sale for a really good price. And them tired for all the shoe-shopping we got some lunch too! I thought we were done and were heading back home when Francesca eyed a cute swimsuit with strawberries on it ... well, she grabbed it and just refused to let go of it ... she certainly has opinions.
Did I mention she is only 2 1/2? Oh boy, I am in trouble!! I have raised ANOTHER shoe shopper!

Emboss, emboss, emboss! That's the theme for the week:)
Of course, I embossed ... but I haven't taken any pictures of my new cards yet. I will. I have been all over the place this week; it's the chancing weather, is makes me moody!
And by the way: embossing, is just not my thing. But that's just me:)

No Kidding!
At 11 am it was already 80c. We went to 7 Roasters and got some delicious iced coffee and a hot chocolate sandwich (yes, you heard me, it was GOOD) and then went to the beach to pick-up rocks for Martina and Francesca's rock collection:) It is so nice outside that any stamping will have to wait until tonight.

Week 5 of A-Muse-a palooza, one more card!
Yesterday it was my birthday and I gave myself a bunch of stamps from the A Muse birthday celebration and I want to start using some of them. Not sure that I will make cards in line with this week's theme. I also need to make some cards for a friend's birthday.
And of course, tomorrow Martina is invited yet to another birthday party. It has been birthday parties galore recently. She has a lot of fun, but I must confess I'm a bit partied out ... and after the party is lawn mowing duties, laundry and all the exciting things that soon or later must happen during the week. Now that I think about it I might not get much stamping done after all :(
